Day 3 - Typhoon Ends?

So Here we go. Day 3 of HK Grad Trip. Skipped breakfast cause finally managed to sleep in a bit and just went straight to visit Grandma.

Had lunch with Pops and my Aunt DeeDee in Causeway Bay at a chinese cafe called TPK... I kinda forgot to take pictures here but Ordered seafood bisque and their "famous pigeon." Was pretty damn good.

So it was still raining like hell all day, but it never reached the projected Typhoon Level 8 which was good .... i suppose. Met up with "the fobs" (sorry guys i'm just kidding) Brian, Leo, Ricky, Aaron, Wendy and Joanne. Took 3 people to direct me through Mong Kok, thanks to my extreme fail in both directional sense and inability to understand chinese road signs. But I did make my way to King Wah Centre (if you know where it is, whats the best way to get there from Mong Kok MTR station, comment below). Anyways nothing really exciting happening there except for this thrusting manican . He was having a pretty good time in that display case.

I'm pretty sure the person there just reversed the bottom half but was still amusing.

So we made our way over to another shopping center where they were booking a trip to Taiwan. So while wandering around we found a few amusing things.

Which lightsabre does not belong.... I think this one is for "overcompensation purposes.."

Ok, So on the ground floor I found what appeared to be a regular coke vending machine. Or was it....

Looked Innocent Enough....

Or was it? What the hell is a quaff? How do you quaff? why... is a quaff???

So how could I not try..

In case the video wasn't too clear. It actually did slushify.. It was Quaffing Good.

For those of you who have absolutely no idea what just happened. This coke machine basically advertised that you would get frozen coke slushy after following the instructions. I was not disappointed to say the least. I should bring this back to Canada and make a fortune... Best 11 HKD spent ever?

*update* ok so I remembered theres such thing as a dictionary. So i decided to look up quaff. Looks like the fobs from Hong Kong have better English than me. Its a real word:

So after the epic Coke bottle. We went over to Kowloon City and went to "yau yut sing". It was a pretty big mall. Had a skating rink inside, a fashion show happened and was like 7 stories.

Hello ladies.....

So we had shanghai food for dinner and here are some pics. The "siu lung bao" was freaking awesome. Highly recommend checking this place out. This place and the foodcourt in Langham place have some pretty sweet dumplings.

Anyways, i'm getting sleepy so heres what i bought today. 10 points to who guesses where I got this stuff from. You are not allowed to play if you went with me.....

What I bought. Should i go more fob? Less fob? Buy more like this? Or burn these clothes and forbid me from bringing them back to Canada to wear? Ladies weigh in, in the comment section =).

And.. on the final note. This was an ad, in the store of where i bought the clothes. I don't know if its asian marketing scheme or something... but This dude does not make me want to buy clothes.
