Day 6 - Post Apocalypse

Alright so.. woke up the next morning with a massive headache.... and the worst part is I got up at 10:30 again.... which was more fail. Anyways went to eat congee (best hangover food) with aunt and dad, then went to visit grandma. She's doing a lot better, and has a lot more energy now and is starting to get a lot more dexterity in her arms.

So i saw this on my way home while walking. It was a promotion for the Ocean Park Halloween bash.. i guess this costume is... Flabby-britney-spears belly dancer? Pretty scary if you ask me..

So after that met up with Brian, Ricky, Leo, Tim, Cherry, Aaron and Wendy to do some HK style BBQ. Pretty low-key day which was exactly what I needed after last night. Some pictures from the bus on the way there: We went to Shek O to bbq.

It was packed when we got there and we coudln't get a bbq. We waited around for about 30 minutes and holy crap....

I'm gonna link this to Ben's blog comment on HK fashion. Firstly, even at the beach they eff shit up... so many speedos for so many guys that sHOULD NOT be wearing one. Hollllllllllyyyyyyyy.

But yea, people are kinda ridiculous here... There was one chick taking up 4 bbqs claiming to be waiting for "her friends." So essentially this place was an area with lots of bbq pits where its free to use by anyone. But isn't it kind of a bitch move to take up 4 bbqs by having one person "wait?" Effing chinese people. Anyways we played rock paper scissors to ask if we could use a grill.. Brian lost. Here is video of his fail.

So we gave up waiting and ended up renting a bbq. It was pretty decent only $200hkd and the guy started the fire for us and gave us gloves to eat and stuff.

So after that we all went back. Met up with Ricky, Winnie and Brian to go get some dessert. this place was actually pretty neat... They served some Specialty snow ice thingy... Too bad it was all in chinese. Needed my tourguides to teach me how to order.

Soo I ordered the Ovaltine one cuz... I love that shit. But i'm definetly coming back here, now that I know how to order. But yea. trip is still pretty awesome so far. Still have a whole bunch of things to do. But i wont tell you guys the list, but dont stop helping me add to it! Comment below!
