Day 23

Alright so as promised today was a pretty low key day. Woke up early since I had to meet up with Brian, Ricky and Leo all the way in Hang Hau for lunch and then Leo's place in LOHAS park to play some MJ (how asian can you get... i know..)

So when I woke up.. I kinda had a bit of a stomach ache. I blame Jacky and him giving me oysters at hotpot and claiming they were fully cooked (they probably weren't)... bastard. So i hit up the asian pharmacy and bought some meds.. This stuff is awesome. Never travel without it.. but unfortunately when I looked at the bottle I brought with me it expired last year...
Trumpet Pills. They smell horrible but it works.
Saw Grandma and she was doing better today. Speaking is still mumbling a bit but shes getting there. Keep it up grandma =)

So met up with everyone at Hang Hau for lunch. Walked around the mall for a bit and saw these batman egg tarts. ok fine they're just bats (for halloween) but looked cool nonetheless.
Walked around some more and just bought a T-shirt that I saw a couple weeks ago at a random store in Sneaker street with Ben. But they didnt have my size.. but today they did!

It was pretty cheap too. only like 120 hkd for Nike Dryfit so w/e.

Went to lunch here..
Lobster Bisque (well more like crayfish bisque) and garlic bread
"pipe rigatte???????" and chicken.

Some hokkaido milk tea with red bean. Wasn't bad. I dont normally drink tea though so im sure it'd be better for those that do.
So I ended up getting those batman egg tarts. Can anyone guess how its done?

Well.. the answer is quite disappointing. So when I got there, it looked like they were sold out. But since I was in the mood to practice my chinese, I asked if they had anymore. The bakery person (bakist?) oh right baker.. asked me how many I wanted. I said 2 and she just grabbed the normal egg tarts. so.... that cool bat thing isn't baked in, or burned in or flambed in.

Its just a sifter in the shape of a bat and then they sprinkle chocolate powder on it.. Freaking lame. I was severely disappointed. The egg tart wasn't bad though. Still not as good as Centrals.
After that we went to Leo's place. His 'clubhouse' is ridiculously nice. It even has a bowling alley so we decided to give it a try.

Sorry my camera ran out of batteries today. I actually had to borrow Brian's for dinner (actually thats an upgrade), so I only got footage of one frame and none of the score. We played 2 games. Being the selfish guy I am, I only remember my own score.

1st game.
1st - Huang - 112 (weak i know...)
2nd - Brian
3rd - Ricky
4th - Leo

2nd Game
1st - Huang - 146
2nd - Leo - 120 something ( he was hustling us the first game)
3rd - Brian
4th - Ricky

Anyways watch the video again if you didnt notice how hard leo and brian bowl. Its retarded, they make the room thunder and it feels like they're going to break the floorboards.

Went up to leo's place to play MJ after.
Awesome view.
Big winner smiling.
Brian won a bit of money from us from one big hand. No crazy hands today.

So afterwards we went to Itacho Sushi (not a good idea i know considering i have a stomach ache... but whatever... Spartan right?)

Pretty neat selection

This is what i ended up ordering. Its black sesame soft icecream and snow ice or w/e... Was pretty damn good.

But yup. That was my day. Racetrack in Causeway tomorrow where i'm gonna "double my money and make a stack." T.I style. Wish me luck!

Oh yea almost forgot. I found these at the grocery store... Roasted Duck flavour. Took me forever to find anything this flavour. which lucky reader will get one as a souvenir when i get back....

Later Days.

Edit: After watching that video.. I noticed i'm progressively getting fobified.. i think i'm using more and more chinese within my everyday language. I hope I dont forget how to speak proper english...
